Many Belly Bar designs are quite decorative and potentially fragile so it is important to realise that these items can be subject to damage if not handled correctly, or if they are worn beneath inappropriate clothing, or even during certain activities such as sports or work.

Due to the nature of certain designs, many Belly Bars are likely to snag on some types of clothing which can cause them to become damaged or to snap, or may even cause injury or tear to the piercing site. Belt buckles can often be the culprit!

Therefore, care should be taken as to the type of clothing worn over or next to them.
