Don't forget to sterilise your body jewellery before using it!

It is essential that you use only sterile jewellery whether it be purchased from The Body Jewellery Store or any other company. Body jewellery can be safely sterilised using any of the normal sterilising methods - steam heat, boiling water, alcohol, etc - In addition, you should wash your hands well, and the area of the piercing before replacing any jewellery in any piercing. There are a number of products on the market which you can use in your washing to ensure that you are free of bacteria. Consult your chemist, pharmacist or body piercing studio.
